What is the Advanced Antenna System?

Multi-Antenna Techniques 


The purpose behind the innovation of this technique is to supply the receiver with numerous versions of the same signal which is transmitted through one channel. Multi-Antenna Techniques are a huge success for the public because of the communication authenticity and increased channel sizes. Moreover, Multi-Antenna techniques have reduced the interference in the downlink ( signals which are coming from the cell tower to your cellular device) and uplink ( signals leaving your cellular device and going back to the cell tower). Beamforming 


It is a method where the radio energies/ signals conducted to the radio channels towards a specific receiver. Also, a radio channel is termed as a way of communication between transmission and the receiver where messages are transferred and communicated over. Beamforming is a technique of transferring data signals towards a specific user rather than sending signals to multiple users. This technique is helpful for the single user because it can increase the data speed and the connection becomes faster and more reliable than it would be without beamforming. 


MIMO (Multiple Input, Multiple Output) techniques 


It is a method or a technique, where multiple antennas are used for both the sources (receiving and the transmitting). MIMO is a Radiofrequency or communication technology that is being used by many new technologies. Also, MIMO works on both the Uplink and downlink but for a better understanding we would discuss the working of MIMO in DL here - Single-user MIMO( SU - MIMO) and Multi-user MIMO( MU - MIMO). Single-user MIMO serves one device at a time and Multi-user(MU-MIMO) serves multiple devices simultaneously.
